Hilarious Book

I just read this book by Chelsea Handler. It is hilarious. I love her show Chelsea Lately.

I usually do not laugh out loud while reading. I was laughing so hard. I had to put the book down once because I was laughing so hard. That is not me. I usually just smile when I am reading something funny.

Paige was such a good girl while I was reading. She was sitting next me acting like she was reading her book and she would laugh every time I laughed. And then she feel asleep and I stayed up way too late reading. I could not put the book down.

Now I want to read her fist book and I am excited for her new book that comes out next year.

Snacks

Oreo Face

Organic fruit snack

Paige is an eater. She knows sign language for eat and more and she uses them all day long.

Nathen gave her an Oreo and I thought her messy face was so cute. I was surprised when he gave her an Oreo because he is strict about what she eats. We try to feed her healthy food.

Short Hair

Lexie cut my hair short. She did a good job. I love it!
I have not had short hair since I was a little girl.
I needed a change.

Aunt Priscila

Paige loves Codey and Priscila. I think they like her more than they like us. When we go out to dinner they play with her the whole time. Yes, I am jealous! J/K

Whenever we leave them she cries. She does not even cry when I leave her.

She will not say their names, but she will say their dogs names. Whenever I talk about them she says "row, row, and D."

Cole

My handsome nephew. He is a busy boy. He go go go's. I wish I had his energy.

Paige loves him. She gets so excited every time she sees him.

He was sick last week so Paige did not get to see him. About once a day she would stand at the back door and say Cole. She says his name so cute. She also loves her aunt Robbie. She says Robbie Robbie Robbie. She does not say it once. She always says her name a few times.

Friends

I am very lucky in the friend department.

Paige and I had a play date with some girlfriends and their kids today. I enjoyed myself. Thanks Mandy for the fun play date. I wish we would have taken some pictures.

Here is a picture of all of us in 2005 at Monica's house in Las Vegas. There was only three kids then. Now among all of us there are 10 kids.

Crash

Paige landed on a rock with her head. She did not cry very long. She is tough. She cries more when she is picked on by other kids than she does when she gets hurt.

Hats

Paige loves hats. When she sees a hat she will keep saying "hat hat hat." Her hat and hot sound a lot alike.

Trick or Treat

We took Paige to the fairgrounds for trunk or treat. She was so cute walking around with her basket.

Paige was so hyper Halloween night. She was running around the house laughing and squealing. She was sooooo cute. She usually does not have very much sugar.

She does not like chocolate. Every time I gave her something with chocolate she would spit it out. She is not my child I love chocolate.

Earlier in the day we went over to Shane and Rachel's house (which is gorgeous) to visit with Burke and Kara. I enjoy their family. They are such a fun family to be around. Brittney makes me laugh (which made me miss all the fun times we had at Britney's house in Las Vegas), Kara's mom is a sweet heart, and Rachael is such a good person.

Being around their family makes me miss mine.

Cole was not a scarecrow for Halloween because he pulled all the straw off of his costume. He did not like his scarecrow costume.

Irritated by animals today

I went outside to enjoy the beautiful weather. While sitting outside Paige said "dog." I looked up and I noticed the neighbors dogs were in Robbie and Aarons garbage. Paige and I yelled at them and they went home. Robbie is not going to be happy when she gets home from work.

Then while sitting on my outdoor furniture I smelled cat pee. I have a sensitive nose and cat pee grosses me out. All I wanted to do was sit on my furniture and relax. I guess I need to get some furniture covers. I do not know where I am going to find them since Nathen built my furniture and they are over sized.


Also the birds love our back porch and I have to clean up bird poop regularly.
Does anyone know how to get rid of the animals, especially the birds, without hurting them?

The older I get the less I like animals. I loved them when I was a kid, but now they annoy and gross me out.

Paige 13 Months Old

Paige's 1st Birthday

Paige turned one on August 15th. She was so cute at her party.

She demolished her cake. She was laughing and throwing cake every where.

She had some help opening presents.

She is so precious. I cannot imagine my life without her. I am so glad she is in our lives.

Being pregnant seemed like forever, but this year with her went by way too fast. I want to slow down time.

Trip to Elko

Paige and I went to my Parents house for a few days. Susie Weber drove up and back with us. I am so glad she could go because I was worried about going so far alone with Paige and I enjoyed having the company. Paige did really good on the long drive.
My sister and her kids were there. We went swimming and they rode their horses a lot. We were so busy. The time went too fast and I felt like I did not get to spend enough time with my Mom and Dad.
The girls had a junior rodeo this weekend in Wells. I stopped and watched them on my way home yesterday. I was impressed. They are such good hands. Mckenzie is roping really well and she is only ten years old. They are growing up so fast.
I wish they did not live so far away. Seeing my family makes me miss them more.
